About

I’m an outdoor enthusiast who loves creating effective, thoughtful and elegant user experiences.

A systems thinker by nature, I have always been excited by the intersection of people and science. Whether exploring how to create seamless online grocery shopping experiences for end users, or feeding my curiosity about why plants and animals thrive in different ecosystems, I love the way a deep understanding of connections in all forms allows for creative problem solving.

When I’m not at my computer, you can usually find me outside. Activity in the outdoors, and appreciating the beauty of small details are important to me.

In my career, I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to grow as a professional while also taking time to step away to grow personally. In both 2017 and 2019 I was able to complete two separate cross-country bike trips with an affordable housing-centered non-profit, called Bike & Build. Both trips equipped me with skills and new perspectives that have enriched my work as a designer who leads with empathy. As a User Experience designer, my goal is always to not only advocate for the end user, but also find a solution that aligns with the needs of a given business or industry. The fusion of these, along with data and iterative design thinking creates space for collaboration and design thinking.
